Huize Jon Hostel

The hostel itself is good. The staff are friendly. There’s a nice coffee shop attached. It’s in a good, central location. But the tour to Bromo is the real star and definitely worth staying for. Jon was really friendly, interesting, and helpful, and knows a lot of people so you get a good spot to watch the sunrise. You couldn’t ask for anyone better to run the tour. The scenery at Bromo was also amazing and definitely not to be missed.

I was pleasantly surprised to be offered free coffee, and let me tell you, it was delicious! The entire staff was also incredibly nice and helpful throughout my stay. Can't wait to visit again!

The staff was so friendly and helpful the room also nice and the bed comfy. I tried the coffee it was good and cheap! Will definitely come back!

There was a baby and a little kid and their mom was talk lot while they’re packing till i cant sleep it was like 5-6 am

Perfect location near Alun Alun malang also Malang train station 10 minutes walk, convenient sorroundings and good place for short stayover.

The main road was busy even we were not able to crossed easily

So welcoming, free coffee, explained, and gave great options for seeing bromo waterfalls and ijen.

Basic but nice hostel. They serve good coffee, the location is good (in the midst of the Malang night life with live music and streetfood everywhere), the owner and his son are very friendly. I did the Bromo tour here as well.

There is no sheet, but only a blanket. So maybe bring your own sheet.
