My Motel Glasgow Airport

We all barely slept. The room was boiling hot all night! The window opened a jar but it was very noisy with traffic. An awful night with hardly any sleep and cost us £160!!! Then no hot water for shower in the morning!!

Closeness to airport (that is it)

Room wasn’t fully cleaned when we arrived in it, bin not emptied and mould all over the bathroom ceiling and walls. Room was like a sauna but couldn’t keep the window open as it was next to a 4 lane road which was extremely loud. Walls are paper thin, could hear the next rooms TV. Complained the reception but staff not really interested, they said there were not other rooms to move us to. They did say they would speak to the people in the room next to ours but I didn’t stay to check if they did. Overall, the stay was awful, would have been better sleeping in my car.

Clean & reasonably priced

It stunk of smoke, it was a homeless hotel, it wasn’t clean. I didn’t feel safe.

The motel itself was a very nice stay. Beds are comfy & rooms are bright and clean.

I had a very stressful stay in the my motel. Me and my friend were stranded outside Hampden Stadium, i had to phone the motel & ask if i was ok to check in slightly later time. This was at midnight. I was then informed that the motel had been overbooked & my room was not available. The receptionist told me to cancel my booking and find another hotel to stay in for the night! At midnight!! After a lot of back and forth, i got a phone call about 40 minutes later from the motel, he had sorted me a room out. When we turned up to the motel there was groups of people who were stranded with no rooms for the night due to the unorganised booking system. This motel had not bothered to inform anyone that they didn’t have a room for the night! All of us wasted a lot of money on taxis & travel to this motel just to be turned away. There was a young lady who had solo travelled from Ireland & had booked her room in May. She had been given no support & had to go and spend the night in the airport until her flight. I was extremely disappointed in the un organisation & lack of communication of this place.

I booked in for a room they said don't have a window in there but we have the AC in the room but it's not the AC it's like a dummy.When I talked to the management they said we can't do anything this is what it is.It was a non refundable booking and they just act like a stealing money nothing else .Just a waste of money

It was not what I expected, its more suited for workmen.

The lobbys are are depressingly dirty and the building really quite tired.
