"Hidden gem - more than we expected!"

Lovely place in Hereford, we were really surprised to find a bar and cafe! On the night we stayed there was some fantastic live guitar music, a delicious food menu including pizza and a really nice fire pit where the kids roasted marshmallows! Friendly staff, would love to go to a wedding here I bet it would be amazing! There’s also a tractor, biplane and even a boat on the property!

The room was fine with two double beds but found it a little closed in with no windows and the humidifier on all night - this is just the room we stayed in so sure there are more options as we booked last minute!

We stayed as two families in two rooms — the couple had the VIP room, and the other family stayed in the family room. We had a wonderful time there. The owner/manager, Garry, was extremely nice and friendly, and the staff were very helpful. Nothing bad to say — only good things. That said, a couple of small improvements could make the experience even better. In the VIP room’s shower, a wall-mounted tray or shelf for shampoo and toiletries would be useful, as we had to keep our items on the floor. And door lock hinge was broken in Skylar's room( top floor middle room) Also, the pan pizza was superbly delicious, but the portion size was quite small for £10 — a slightly larger size would be great value. Other than that, it’s an awesome place, and we’ll definitely come back one day. Wishing this place all the best!

"An exceptional family holiday base"

The venue offered an exceptional holiday base. There was a lot going on at the venue. We enjoyed live music and drinks at the bar in the evenings, great food throughout the day, a craft fair one day, and walking around the extensive and beautiful grounds. The owner and staff were very friendly and very flexible with requests. It was a very fun place for our kids.

A superb venue tucked away just a few miles north of Hereford. Gary was very helpful and saw that we got a great breakfast too. A perfect place to unwind

"Beautiful property in a great setting. We had a bunk room - perfect for big groups or a big event."

Lyde Court is a beautiful property in a beautiful setting. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were the only people there so we got it all to ourselves. This place is really an event venue so we were rattling around a little… But the room was simple and comfortable - one double bed and two sets of bunkbeds - and suited our needs. Communal areas - toilets, showers, kitchen - all really good. Clean and well functioning. We were just sorry we weren’t there for a big party!!

The only small thing was my mattress wasn’t the most comfortable - but it was a bunk bed! In spite of this I did sleep well…
