I never paid for breakfast but they provided cereal, coffer & toast as a gesture. Very friendly host and all round a very nice place in a nice place of the country.

"Beautiful location, loads of unique character, definitely worth a stay, but needs some refining"

Breakfast was good but very limited choice. An unusual set up, for reception you just hope someone is in the room and you have to knock on an outdoor window to get attention which was quite funny! The room we had was decent, no windows though and had to put up with the dehumidifier, but that’s a side effect of the lovely character of the place.

The staff at breakfast were not the friendliest at first. They said they were extremely busy but almost all tables were empty. Apparently boiling an egg was a real challenge for them but they came through in the end and the breakfast was very good although there only appeared to be one choice of a full English or muffin/eggs and smoked salmon if memory serves me correctly. No cereals, fruit, yogurt etc.

it was close to the event venue which was lovely well heated and bathroom very nice

No bedside light - has to ask for one No breakfast before 10 Found rubbish in bedside table Couldnt find hairdryer not given a key

"Such a lovely place! Can’t wait to return!"

The host was very welcoming& friendly and even offered us some chicken casserole on arrival! The whole place is beautiful especially the bar area, the room was very cozy and inviting and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was gorgeous too! Will definitely be returning!
