The location the view peace and quiet

We spent a lovely night in the pod, the location is superb overlooking a lake with geese. There is a little walk uphill surrounded by sheep and lambs to get to the pod. Dave the owner gave us a history lesson about the area and later brought us wood for a fire on his quad bike.

The hosts were amazing. When we realised that the eco pod didn't include a kitchen, (booking dot com had. Changed the description of the accommodation) , the hosts went over and above and moved us to a different facility which did have a kitchen. The setting of the pod is stunning, but we would recommend hiking books to get there.

Booking dot Com had changed the description of the eco pod to say that a fully equipped kitchen existed when there is no kitchen at all at the eco pod. We booked the eco lodge because we believed it had a kitchen.

Absolutely nothing I’m looking for a full refund as not able to stay there!! Extremely disappointed It Was supposed to be a special stay but ended up going home was not the kind of place that was habitable or warm or comfortable literally only a extremely small pod room to lie on double bed which filled the pod not suitable at all it was perishing cold with no heating at all no space no Heating Or Had to struggle mobility wise over two enormous fields slipping and sliding all over the place in mud which has now pulled jilted my back Nowhere to get any water from to drink It was pitch black so it was impossible to get any photos and quite frankly I was that fed up & disappointed & at the fact that I have to then placed more fuel travelling back home 👎🏻😪 Not a pleasurable experience whatsoever

David and Julie are delightful. They answered all questions I had via email before my stay, and I was greeted by David and Julie upon my arrival. David helped me with my bags up to the pod, which was really great. It was very cold (which I knew it would be when I booked the getaway) but Julie did me hot water bottles, they provided extra blankets and David set up the logs for me to sit by which was lovely. It was very peaceful and quiet, and it was nice to have a night away from everything! I will definitely stay again, thank you!

A little heater of sorts would be amazing in the cold weather.

Second time staying here. The scenery is as beautiful in the Winter as in the Summer. Quiet winters night by the fire pit & a morning stroll around the field by the lake. David & Julie both great / friendly hosts, checking in to see if all was OK / made sure I had all I needed before settling in for the night. Spotted some reviews complaining about lack of running water / heating.. the pod is very much a camping experience, with the luxury of a comfy & clean bed/bedding (2 duvets were set up for extra warmth), lighting and a secure structure. Personally I think it's great value for what is provided & the warmth of the hosts. I look forward to returning again ASAP
