Absolutely beautiful setting. So, peaceful and close to nature. Had a lovely relaxing time in the pod and David was really helpful.. I would highly recommend.

Myself and my husband stayed for 1 night. As soon as we walked up to the pod we were surrounded by friendly sheep, horses and lambs. The views were really pretty, even more so than in the photos. We got a little lost trying to find the location after reading the directions wrong! So we phoned the owners who kindly offered to drive to our location so we could follow them. The bed was comfy and the fire pit was perfect in the evening. I would absolutely recommend booking. Perfect staycation.

If you need to get away from the real world for a little bit, I’d highly suggest staying here. I stayed here with my dog for 2 nights and it was a complete reset for me - feeling hidden away from everything and everyone! Fortunately, I have a well behaved dog as we had some visits from the sheep and horses, which was nice. The pod sits on top of a hill (but still with complete privacy) next to the water, with the sun setting behind the forest trees, making it a perfect spot for dinner. The sun rises were also worth waking up for! The bed was so comfortable and had plenty of blankets and pillows. A table and chairs both inside and out, an LED light and USB charging ports. I had my own fairy lights and hung them round the door. The compost toilet was very clean and there was the option of using a solar shower. David, the host, came to check on us to make sure we had everything. He offered more blankets if we needed and made sure we were comfortable. He was kind enough to bring us some freshly chopped firewood and helped us light the fire. He was lovely and you can see he takes pride in his farm! It was an absolute pleasure staying here and I will 100% be returning in the summer ☺️

Beautiful peaceful break. We’ve stayed three times now and will definitely be returning. All you need. Fire and a disposable bbq. Stunning lake. Helpful farmer David and his lovely wife. Plus a great location for exploring.

Bed was very comfortable. The views were great.

Pod was not signposted as said in the particulars. I would have liked to know that there was a long uphill walk through a field where there were horses (I have a fear of horses after being bitten by one when younger) before booking. Would have been useful to have a door stop or hook to hold door open for when it was windy, or any time really.
