Very bad staff behaviour

Attach bathroom is not good as it should be. Towel was given when demanded. No water or glass in room. Room phone was not working.

Staff is decent and cooperative but facilities are not up to class. Hotel Charges should not be related to peak season. It should be uniform.

My experience at SS Hotel was terrible and raises serious concerns about Booking.com's quality control. Although my room was booked from noon on 5.09.2025, I arrived at 4:00 AM on 6.09.2025 and had to call repeatedly to get the shutter opened. I had to carry my own luggage, found the room unclean with a used and unflushed washroom, and was told cleaning staff wouldn’t arrive until after 9 AM. I was reluctantly offered a washroom from another room. The hotel is also in a poor location, directly facing a slum. Basic amenities were missing—no mineral water, only RO water, and toiletries limited to shampoo pouches. Despite arriving at an odd hour, I was repeatedly pressured for full payment and told they don't accept cards. I explained I needed time to arrange a UPI payment, but staff kept calling my room until I paid around 9 AM. The owner was indifferent when I raised these issues. Another guest was also extremely distressed and raised similar complaints about the hotel. I requested the room to be cleaned while I was out, but returned in the evening to find it untouched and the key carelessly left in the door. On the check-out date, I was disturbed multiple times between 11:00 and 11:15 AM to vacate. Every time I ordered tea or water, I was asked to pay immediately upon delivery. The room had no proper windows or ventilation, poor-quality bathroom fittings, torn furniture, and overall lack of cleanliness. Staff blamed each other, and no one took responsibility. This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. If BOOKING.COM continues to list such substandard properties without proper checks, I will stop using the BOOKING.COM platform. Immediate action is needed to review and remove such listings.

Good location very near to railway station, Best place to stay in Gaya, so many food options available near by. Overall nice property to stay and good staff.

- It looks good only in pictures posted on booking.com - Asked for menu in their restaurant to order more and viola they handed over the bill - Asked for towel, receptionist said they are not allowed to give more than 1 even if it's a double occupancy room
