It was a very comfortable, clean and modern cottage. Only small but well equipped. I imagine a winter break will be great as well as it will be really cosy. Bed was comfortable and shower really good.

It could have done with a microwave I think but that's just a thought for improvement... not a moan!!

"Beautiful apartment"

Beautifully decorated studio apartment which was perfect for a couple. Quiet village location within 10 minute walk of two pubs one of which had fantastic food. The host Rachel could not have been more helpful. Best of all the bed was so comfortable. Slept like a log! The village of Cotherstone is very close to Barnard Castle and the Bowes Museum so loads to see and do.

"Trip away to see friends"

V good and comfortable accommodation just where we wanted it. Good range of kitchen equipment. Nice touch to have basic food items available. Would happily use it again.

Heating control was limited but after speaking to the owner this was quickly rectified. Room heating stove was fiddly to use.
