The Little House

It's a lovely, cosy place that allows you to relax within a peaceful area. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare your own meals and that was very handy. Very comfortable bed, I slept like a baby. Some lovely walks nearby too which is a big bonus and saves on unnecessary driving. Will definitely be back.

The little house was really easy to find with the instructions provided by the host. Parking was right outside (a negative being we were parked under a tree and and now car is covered in tree sap, we were only there two nights) The house was presented really nice and clean. The fridge is in the same room as the bed but I didn't hear it at all which is good. We've stayed places before where the fridge is loud so happy it was quiet. The fresh eggs and milk are nice to have supplied. The bed is only a double, which it does say on the ad. I was staying with my wife. We do prefer at least a kingsize but that's just our preference, it was still comfy and so we slept really well. We went to the local Fox and Hounds pub for some dinner on our first day and the food was nice, then had a nice stroll by the river afterwards. It's a lovely little quiet village and everyone was so friendly. All in all we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again.

Beautifully designed , perfect Tony house , the bed was very comfortable , everything needed for a short cozy stay . Plenty to do around the area with great walks and pubs , the walk down the dene was spectacular

- Great location, very peaceful and quite. - Eggs and milk on arrival were a lovely touch. - The main living area was very clean. - Good facilities. - Easy parking. - Host was quick to respond to messages, helpful and accommodating. - Quirky property, nicely decorated and cosy. - Dog friendly.

- The bathroom could do with a deep clean, mainly the shower doors and skirting boards. - Unfortunately we had an issue with the hot water supply when showering. We reached out to the host who was quick to respond and surprised by the issue. We were offered a shower in the house, and an extended check out by way of apology. They were keen to solve the issue. - The blinds allow a lot of light in which makes it difficult to sleep once daylight sets in. - The front door lock is quite stiff.

The property was too cold for the time of the year ,needed to be warmer

Fantastic little property - perfect for a cosy night away. Great interiors and very comfy bed! Lovely host who left fresh eggs and milk which was a great touch.
