Nice location and ideal for using the Restaurant which was excellent in both ambience and the food it served. Friendly, helpful staff and very nice complimentary breakfast in the room…nice touch.

had a leak in the radiator which meant a wet patch on the carpet Had a fuse or something similar blow which meant although we had the main bedroom light, we had no TV, no sidelights, no working sockets, no working fridge etc… We did report this prior to dinner but was not fixed during our stay which was a shame and inconvenient. Woken up at 11pm by very loud ‘Rave’ type music blasting through the room from directly outside our window and was from the properties own garden area. After dressing and going down to the restaurant, I discovered it was the staff clearing the restaurant playing their music (loudly) and who had inadvertently switched the music on in the outside area. In fairness, they were very apologetic but of course by then, we’d been woken and had to get up dress etc. etc.

Radiators didn’t come on in the morning it was quite chilly

Extremely comfortable, immaculately clean, very friendly staff. Loved the breakfast hamper and the fridge in the room
