Good musquito net, very good (warm!) shower, best wifi we had in flores. Dinning room is very cosy and indeed you can see greenery from here (not really ricefields but some green)

Basically, all the features filled in on booking are a lie … there is no parking, no airco, no jacuzzi (that one we did figure out before arriving ;) ), etc. Also on booking there is 1 room with 8 beds, now they have 3 rooms with 2 beds each. Although the floors were very clean, the blankets and sheets had very big stains on them. Like with all places in flores, surfaces are not cleaned so the chairs in the room were very dirty. The outside chairs were very worn down. Looks like the booking pictures are from 10y ago … The owners are very helpfull and do help a lot with booking your trip, but for the first time in 2 weeks flores we felt like a bag of money … they cooked vegetarian dinner for us (“buffet”, so 3 plates for 2 people + soep & rice), but charged 100k per pers for this. Even tho the moni cakes were delicious (hmmm), we still kind of felt ripped off … There was also people coming to the house to sell their stuff to us You have to drive through a pig-farm to get here. Bumpy ride and not on the main road.

Tam, the proprietor, was nice and helpful. It sits above town on a dirt road, which allows good views. Breakfast was good.

As others have mentioned, the description is wrong (no aircon, sauna). No toiletries, which matches the price, but bath soap is pretty basic. Biggest problem was ants. They are everywhere. I left a day early.

Great house with amazing view, host gave us a lot information regarding restaurant and atractions and made great breakfast for us, thank you again and wish you all the best

Augustina and Tam have been great hosts!!!They helped us with transport in the area and they organise our entire trip back to Labuan Bajo,providing us a driver for a fair price.Tam took us to Kelimutu and Koka beach.We had dinner two days in a row...the food is delicious!!!She made two different menu for us and everything was so good...the room are very spacious and very very clean.Hot shower.Mosquito net.The view is incredible....go here you won't regret it if you want a very authentic homestay...thank you so much again!!!

Amazing breakfast - so much fruit! One of best views and away from road noise. Only 3 rooms so not too busy, comfy bed, warm shower, very clean. Owner’s place so very secure. A 5 minute walk to “center” of village. Amazing host - speaks english fluently and gave many tips for places to eat and things to do nearby.

Welcoming atmosphere, and they helped us a lot as something went wrong in our booking (our mistake). We loved the view!

The family proposes a good meal in the evening, but in our case it was totally overpriced.

We can warmly recommend this homestay, the owners are so kind and helpful. We even had a fantastic dinner freshly cooked on spot. As the homestay is a little uphill you get a beautiful view of the little village.

My favourite Home Stay during my 2 weeks in Flores. Tam and Augustina are absolutely lovely. Learnt loads from them about Moni & Kelimutu. They helped loads with travel too - even after when in Maumere and my flight was cancelled, Tam still helped source quick transport. Augustina makes delicious food too. The room was big, clean and comfy. The location is gorgeous. The view over Moni and the valley is perfect, and it's only 5 mins walk to town or the nearby waterfall. Can't recommend Jaya enough.

The hosts Tam and Augusta went above and beyond to give us great recommendations, arrange pick up and a drive to our next destination, rent out a scooter to explore the area. Augustas food was amongst the best we experienced on our trip to Indonesia!

The food was amazing, there were lots of vegetarian options. The owners, Tam and Augustina, were really kind. Transport to and from Ende was organised by them as well as a scooter for rent. The room was very clean, had a moscito net, towels and lots of pillows.
