Very cute family-run place, staff was very responsive and super friendly. Rooms had mosquito nets, strong AC, a good warm shower, and access to a huge terrace with a view. With a 15 minute walk or very quick Tuktuk ride you reach all the cafés and restaurants in Weligama. An excellent restaurant with local fare is also right next door. Great location if you commute between the various surf spots between Weligama and Ahangama.

More shelf / desk space and hooks to hang clothes, especially in the bathroom, would make the rooms perfect. You can hear street noise in the single rooms as they’re in a separate house closer to the main road, looked a bit different on the map, but it’s not too bad.

The hosts are really nice people. They served us good food even though the cafe was not functional due to off season. They Helped us arrange a cab in cheap price on our last day, helped with places to go around. Would recommend this stay if you are a solo female traveler or group of female travelers. You will feel safe here.

The female Dorm was not clean. Not sure if it was coz of off season but the only 2 beds were cleaned rest all had dust in the room and one of the window was not closing at night due to which incects came in the room & we were not able to sleep peacefully at night.

Very beautiful hostel, it looks like a home, very cozy and comfortable, they have also hammocks in the garden/outside area. The guys that are managing the property are super nice, I raccomend this place!
