"Exceptional"

I had an amazing time staying at the star eyes hostel in weligama. The staff is super friendly and this hostel feels like home. I wanted to stay there for a few days and ended up staying for multiple weeks. I met so many great people, I liked that the location was a bit out of weligama city because it was more quiet. thank you for everything Ishan!!! made my time in Sri Lanka very special. will definitely come back 🫶🏻

"Superb"

Super great vibes. Owner was very kind and lovely. The property is beautiful. The WhatsApp group is helpful to feel a community vibe there. Loved the outdoor shower!

Some amenities were basic for example there wasn't a bug net, but it was a great value for the money.

Best hostel ever! This is a home away from home. Ishan and his dad are THE BEST hosts and it is so easy to make friends here. I came back during my stay in Sri Lanka and the next time I return to this beautiful country I will come back to my home on the other side of the world, Star Eyes! ❤️

"Superb"

Central location but quite neighbourhood. Vieuw on closeby temple from the terras and garden. Comfy beds, beautiful garden and a very nice group of travellers

"The absolute best."

The host, Ishan, is amazing!!! He runs the hostel almost entirely by himself, with some help from his father, and he does an amazing job. I wish him the best. Value for money is amazing. A calm but very social atmosphere, I doubled the length of my stay and hung out with the nicest bunch of people ever.

"Best hostel ever"

Best hostel I’ve been too. Ishan and his father are really kind and help with everything and the place it’s really family style, everyone hangs out together and have fun. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but I ended up staying for 10 days. Love it
