It is a good BnB, the Pub is nice, and they serve good food, good value as well. The room was comfortable, nice pillows and a comfy bed. There was no hairdryer as stated.

The man at the pub was rude when checking in. I was travelling with my son and our dog. As soon as we arrived, he told me I had to pay £25 for the dog, even though at the time of booking, there was no information about paying extra for dogs. He then went on to say he needed to check with the owner, whom he couldn't reach, so he decided to say that I couldn't stay if I didn't pay, knowing fully the room had already been paid for and was not a refundable booking. This was Good Friday at 6 pm, and I had made the booking on that same day as a last-minute stay. Pictures don't match the property, as it is under refurbishment, no information about that at the time of booking.

Fan noise from kitchen outside window, and hotter than expected room

Nice friendly atmosphere, doesn’t look much from the outside but step inside and it’s a really warm, friendly. Food is amazing

The food was great! Nice log fire, but not enough chairs , only one settee and arm chair, otherwise only tables and chairs to sit on. Staff were really nice too.

The bedroom was cold no heat on, when we entered, needed to drag a heater from the landing. Should have been on at arrival, cold weather! So not inviting. At 80 don't expect to be dragging heaters Also no wardrobe at all or draws, except a very small one. Not good, as there was room. Otherwise bedroom clean and pleasant.m
