Excellent location, within short driving distance of many landmarks. Ideal small cabin, with all the home from home essentials you need, with extra little surprises. A very peaceful location.

Super location especially nice areas to sit out if the weather is good! Our host gave us a warm welcome and was informative and friendly. Lots of nice treats and touches of kindness about the place.

Martha’s Retreat is a gorgeous little getaway. We had a wonderful time. The breakfast left was a great mixture of local fare and the little touches that Trevor, the host, left for us were really special. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. We will definitely go back.

No complaints at all.

It wasn't a bed and breakfast but the amount of fresh food and condiments etc that were in the fridge/cupboards, the only thing different was you made it yourself which was much more like home from home. Every drawer you opened, or cupboard you looked in there was something you needed, or had forgotten to bring yourself. It would take me too many words and pages to explain all the little things that made me gasp every time I found them!! I have never seen this level of thoughtfulness/kindness anywhere else I have stayed. Thank you Trevor

Wonderful host. Lovely outside spacce with flowers greenery wild fields. Breakfast foods provided for every possible need. Fans and windows to open in the heat. Excellent shower.

No wi fi. We ran out of data during a 3 day stay.

A very comfortable stay in a peaceful location within easy reach of lovely towns and coast. Trevor made us feel very welcome and provided lots of information and well-thought out facilities and provisions. An exemplary host!
