Extra touches from host made us feel really welcome and enhanced a special weekend. Outside eating space wonderful. Location peaceful, but lots of birds.

Trevor is a first class host. Not only did he arrange a brass band for our arrival, he also made us King and Queen of Martha's Retreat and ordained Prince Cooper (our cockerpoo!) consul of the paddock. Lots of lovely touches including biscuits and crisps and even free dog shampoo.
Once a month the dreaded clay pigeon shoot takes place so be prepared.

Trevor was the perfect host and thought of everything you could need. The flowers and homemade birthday cake were a lovely surprise. The log burner was lovely and was used even though it wasn't really cold enough ;) Location is ideal for sightseeing along the Dorset coast. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Nice homely touches. Comfortable bed. Electric blanket on to pre-warm bed. Great log fire with plenty of wood. Trevor left lots of complimentary snacks which was an added bonus. Our 2 dogs were made to feel very welcome.
No curtain/blind on the main door - not an issue, but would add to the privacy going in/out of the bathroom.
