Close to motorway. Great staff and friendly locals. Good beer at reasonable price

Shower did not provide any hot water. Turned controller every conceivable way and left it running for 5mins. Hot water available from sink so could at least have a wash.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean, and the shower works wonderfully.

Room 2 the bedside table lamp was supplied but no socket to plug it in, Room 4 the twin socket where the kettle is, tried plugging in phone charger and found that the right hand socket doesn't work, however the left hand one does. I know the owners have just taken over, so these issues didn't affect us, and just wanting to bring it to the owners attention

"DON'T GO, THEY DON'T CARE !!! I want money back to be honest."

I didn't like anything about the place and especially the one and only "staff" member that turned up for a few moments in my 2 night stay. Worst "checking in" experience I've ever had. Never been ignored so much in my life and had, when asked, so little information returned, i.e. "So, where can I get get breakfast?" .. response ... no noise just a shrug of shoulders as he looked at his phone. Felt like I was just there to give him money. Worst experience in any place I've ever been in any place I've travelled since 1995 when I had to go to Bucharest. The place wasn't safe because the main door to the property could not be locked. The free wifi didn't exist. Nothing information in the room to ANY of the facilities advertised like, hairdryer, Iron, kitchen, washer drier, etc that was advertised on booking.com It wasn't mentioned ANYWHERE that the pub is closed. So no food, or options for breakfast, or even that your room won't be serviced or that the main front door can't be locked and there's NO staff onsite. You have to call a number !!! I even asked about where I might be able to get breakfast and got NO response, the bloke was more interested in getting payment and his mobile phone. Sink was blocked, room not that clean and smelly. No information in the room about anything, including fire escapes, which I thought was a legal requirement !!! Clean towels on bed, but suspected dirty towels still in the bathroom!!! Free Wifi advertised... didn't exist !!! Hair dryer advertised ... didn't exist !!! in fact an number of items advertised didn't exist.
