Great staff, really friendly and welcoming. This is a great value stay, the bedrooms/en suites were ok - not luxury but absolutely perfect for a comfortable overnight stay. Very clean which is most important to us, nice warm bedrooms (great radiators). Would stay again without hesitation. We ate on Saturday evening-great, wholesome food. We had Sunday lunch, loads of fresh veg, really great roast and very reasonably priced!!

"Disappointing, less than satisfactory!"

Did not appear ready for us when we arrived. Booked rooms with ensuite, but although first room shown had a shower, we were then told that we should be in another room and were moved - no shower/facilities, only a shared bathroom along the hallway. on line photos suggested excellent option for an evening meal this was not the case. I would not choose to stay here again!
