The Jolly Sailor

It was a cute and comfortable room. The bed was particularly comfortable, I had an excellent night sleep. I get cold easily, so the extra plush throw over was great. There was plenty of tea and coffee at the drink station, which was nice too. I ate in the restaurant, and had a delicious pie and homemade chips and a refreshing pint. The Internet was good enough to stream.. Nice hot shower too.

If it served breakfast, it would have scored a 10. Though the staff did tell me 2 nearby options for breakfast, which was useful. I did pack some fruit though as I was aware they don't have brekkie.

The food

The room did the job, exceptionally comfortable bed and nice to have plenty of teabags in the room to make a cuppa.

The room was cold (With no additional blankets provided to help deal with this) and you could easily hear other hotel guests through the walls. The shower was barely useable, with exceptionally low water pressure and the temperature swinging between scalding hot and cold.
