Two Ways - Edge of Peak District near Matlock

Clean, well situated, had everything we needed, and the outdoor area is a lovely place to relax. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture. Thank you.

The overhang on the bed base as we kept knocking our leg on it, but that's only because we're not used to it.

The cottage the pristine, very nicely decorated and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Parking and a cute outdoor seating area were a bonus. We were ideally located to enjoy the surrounding areas by car. Breakfast at the Tansley Tavern which is a five minute walk away was also good.

A larger bed in the main bedroom would have been nice, and maybe a portable fan which I appreciate isn't always a necessity in the UK weather!

The cottage was well decorated to a high standard and extremely clean. Very good facilties and everything you could need in terms of cooking equipment, extra blankets ect. We instantly felt at home when we entered the property and were welcomed to a basket of a goodies. The free-standing bath was a lovely addition and the garden space was a great place to relax and eat al fresco after a busy day exploring.

Although the garden was lovely it was not completely enclosed meaning we had to be extra careful our dog didn't run out into road. The installation of a small metal gate to cover this gap would make the property perfect.

Can only reiterate what others have written. This is a beautiful property, well maintained and in a perfect position. We will return.

Absolutely nothing. From ample parking for 2 cars, through the welcome pack to the quiet position of the property, it is a well appointed home from home.

The most amazing place to stay. The village location was ideal and 2 fabulous pubs to eat in. The cottage is like a home from home. It smelled gorgeous when we walked in, so clean and everything you would need. Lovely outdoor area to sit in and the views are fabulous.

Absolutely stunning cottage exceptionally clean with great facilities. Small attention to detail fantastic hosts had thought of everything. Was comfortable, cosy with a bath to die for.

- Clean - Fully equipped cottage - Welcome basket of wine and biscuits provided. - Tea, coffee and sugar provided. - Quiet location

- Welcome book outdated with many leaflets/maps dated 2022/2023 - Freezing on arrival but quick to warm up - The parking space was inaccessible due to recent snow fall. Steep hill to park on and the driveway hadn't been cleared of snow. Very narrow street so no parking nearby. We had to park two or three streets away. Parking for one car only. - Several messages detailing check-out instructions. If you didn't want us to stay just tell us! - No milk provided as mentioned in other reviews. No shops closeby so don't forget to pack some - or get it out of the car if you have to park 2/3 streets away!

Lovely well equipped cottage, incredibly clean and with some very thoughtful touches. The heating is very effective and the hot water is instant. Comfortable and cosy rooms with a very high spec finish. The kitchen has everything you might need. The bathroom is a dream with a brilliant shower.
