"Really lovely stay"

Really lovely little house close to Matlock. The decor inside was really nice and relaxing. Great facilities in the kitchen, delightful garden area, close to the local pub. Big bath was a nice treat. We really enjoyed our little stay, rooms were really comfy and the boys loved the little treats that were left.

Living room lamp was a bit bright lol

Immaculate in presentation and cleanliness. Has everything you need - everything has been thought of. Really generous welcome hamper and note from the owners.

We loved everything. Would benefit from some coat hooks and shoe rack.

"Good spot to come back to, with a cosy feeling but also fresh, clean and well kept"

Location was perfect for what we were looking for, easy to get to shops in the car and lovely walks from the doorstep for a 6 year old and a small dog. Very well presented property, clean tidy and some games and maps for us to make use of too. Kitchen was very well equipped and the welcome basket was such a lovely treat

Although dogs were allowed and it was nice to see some doggy extras, it felt like having a dog was restricting . After a walk there was no way of washing our pup as they weren't allowed upstairs for example.

"Beautiful well equipped house"

Lovely house, very clean, modern and beautifully decorated! Dog friendly with a mat, treats and bowl left which Dora the dog very much enjoyed. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, cosy living room, had everything we needed. Good location for visiting Chatsworth and Matlock town is a short drive away. Very quiet and pretty road with a pub a short walk away. Very generous food hamper left for us including bread, cheese, olives, butter, wine and more!

No Wifi when we visited however there was a lovely note of apology for this and the extra welcome pack of goodies was lovely, plus 4G worked on our phones. The shower temperature is quite temperamental - ok if you like it hot! A lawn would've been nice for the dog, but only minor things. Overall excellent.
