The apartment Il Sogno is amazing, so beautiful and so comfortable. The location in Spello is perfect. Our host, Stephania, was excellent. She did everything thing possible to make our stay a success. If you travel to Spello, stay here.

Nothing – but it would’ve been better with two bathrooms for two couples staying

Stephanie was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. She was one of the most kind-hearted, warm, and generous hosts we have ever met. We left feeling like life-long friends. She took extra time to make sure we felt settled and had everything we needed. She made great recommendations on places to eat at, sip coffee with views over the valley surround Spello, the best place to park in Assisi, and so much more. She was readily available and made check in so easy. It was evident that this is her passion and providing an incredible experience for her guests her top priority.

The apartment is gorgeous and very comfortable. The location in Spello cannot be beat. It is a 5 minute walk to free parking and a short climb up a hill to get to the apartment. There is a gorgeous patio once inside the main door to relax and enjoy an evening or morning coffee.

It was in the centre of the old town and a ten minute walk to the station.

This incredible property has it all - location, style, comfort, and panache! It is truly a place where you can quietly rest and recharge, then pop out the door for everything Spello has to offer. Literally in the midst of everything, but down a gorgeous little alley in the most private (and accessible} spot. By the way, this alley must be one of the most photographed in Italy. Rare was the occasion that I walked out without seeing tourists swooning! Inside, comforts abound. Stefania has thought of everything. EVERYTHING. This is a treasure.

I simply cannot describe how lovely and well decorated this apartment is!! Stefania and her apartment was the best find in all of Italy! First, Spello is the quaintest town with all the flowers and greenery throughout. Next, the Il Sogno was the best appointed apartment in the best location in Spello. The entrance to the apartment is it's own private courtyard where we had morning coffee. The apartment is so well decorated and makes you feel so at home that you will want Stefania to come to your house to decorate. Two very large bedrooms and a nice kitchen/eating nook is perfect for your stay in Spello. There are restaurants and shops within a few steps of the apartment. Stefania is the nicest host and we will never think of staying anywhere else on any future trips to the Umbria area.

I wish we could have stayed a few nights longer.
