Ocean Creek Resort by Palmetto Vacations

This is a very pretty resort with lots of places to walk. It is dog friendly. There are plenty of options to choose from for accommodations. We like to visit in the Fall when prices are cheaper so we can rent an ocean front condo. Ocean front condos are a fully equipped unit with full kitchen and two or three bedrooms along with two baths. We would recommend this resort for couples or families looking for a nice getaway. *One point that we did not like on this visit. Do not ask guests to attend any time share presentations. We went on the assumption it was a presentation just for Ocean Creek. No, it was for some time share for some company we did not recognize. Did not like the presentations at all nor the sales reps who kept insisting it was not a time share. Extremely expensive sales pitch. Don't insult people. We know a time share presentation when we hear it. *

Getting away for a couple days

We paid for ocean front and only had ocean view. We paid for a pet free room and there was lots of pet fur on the floor and cat toys... Not good with cat allergies. The unit was very dirty, there were still dishes in the dishwasher and hairs all over in the bathrooms. Gross... we want our money back. We talked to the front desk and they said sorry, there is nothing they can do...

Room was dirty. Been coming for years and by far worst cleanliness ever

We stayed in Lodge 2 #2236. This was a 1 bedroom unit. Everything was perfect. No bugs or dirt. Nothing was worn or stained. The furniture appeared to be less than a year old. The kitchen contained all GE appliances and had everything you would want for cooking. The unit contained 1 1/2 baths and had a lot of water pressure and plenty of hot water. The flooring was vinyl wood tiles throughout. The AC worked perfectly. The tram was not running during our stay but the walk from lodge 2 was tolerable. The tram would have made going to the beach much easier. The heated indoor pool was quite warm and the hot tub was hot. The area is very quite and I always felt safe and relaxed even walking to the pool after dark. The beach pool and snack bar area is stunning with ocean views from.the snack bar. I will definitely stay here again.

I loved the screened in balcony. I loved the quick walk to the beach.

I didn't like that the ad said ocean view and I didn't get it. The were no good bathing products. The water pressure was super bad. Plus, the tub kept filling up with water when showering.

Great place

My first stay here was in July and we had a one bedroom lodge villa, it was wonderful and clean. I booked a two bedroom lodge villa for a weekend in September, and not only was the room they gave us almost impossible to find, when we did arrive it was so dirty- the floors and carpets looked like they haven't been cleaned at all, trash on the floor, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the stove didn't work well, the vent fan above the stove didn't work at all, just awful. We switch rooms the next day, which was exhausting to do, packing and repacking everything. The new room was cleaner, but the twin beds they have in these rooms are hard and uncomfortable. Overall very disappointed and upset and did not get to enjoy my vacation.

Absolutely loved this place will definitely be returning!

We had a great experience at Ocean creek. My wife and I had a weekend stay over and our first contact from the hotel who was Shreeya was absolutely perfect. From inclusivity with my trans identity to showing us the ropes around the hotel and making sure we were well settled in we couldn't have asked for a better person to welcome us. This girl deserves a promotion.10/10 would recommend. This was the perfect gift for my wife and I's monthsary.
