Ocean Creek Resort by Palmetto Vacations

First impressions were a solid 10/10! From the start of our holiday, Hilary was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive not just on arrival but throughout our stay. She was always available whenever we needed assistance or advice on places to visit, which made a big difference. The food was excellent, with traditional options and plenty of variety across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pool was perfect for our two young children (ages 3 & 6), and they absolutely loved it. Evening entertainment was enjoyable on most nights some evenings were quieter, but that’s likely down to the time of year (August). A big thank you also goes out to the rest of the wonderful staff: Jerzy (who kindly helped me learn more Creole), the cheerful birthday singers, the pool team (special mention to my mate with the red hat), Pooja, and of course, a huge thanks to Garry Leng for organising our holiday package.

The check in host was unfriendly and sullen.

Food/ drinks/ shopping easily accessible.. (walking distance) gated community, friendly neighborhood

Myself and my girlfriend loved the close range of everything. The walkout balcony was amazing and closeness to the beach out this world. Loved the experience

The resort is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. The unit we stayed in was clean and very nice although the shower in the extra bedroom is very small for an average sized adult. They do not have umbrellas for the pool area which is unfortunate. The parking is wonderful and the proximity to Barefoot Landing is awesome. This was our second time staying at Ocean Creek and won't be our last!

We have stayed at Ocean Creek 2 other times and had wonderful experiences. We were in the South Tower and it was great. This time we were in a studio in the lodge. It was NOT so great. It was NOT clean and NOT well equipped. It slept 4 and we had 3 adults but only had 2 forks, finally found 3 bowls, no paper towels, one dish cloth, and one dish towel, NO broom or vacuum? We were fine I just had to go out and get some supplies that we did not have to get in the tower. The condo was old and outdated for sure. I did ask for a condo that had been renovated but obviously it wasn’t. I knew some of the condos were renovated but ours was not. Also, if you are not in one of the towers you do not have access to the bigger pools. Ours was fine with us, but you should consider that if the pools are important to your group. Also, ate breakfast in the restaurant one morning and it was horrible!! Very disappointing and expensive since I left without eating more than a couple of bites. We were there in 2023 and the breakfast was very acceptable. Ocean Creek itself is great just stay in one of the towers and ask for an updated room.😔
