The resort is really something different if you’re wanting to get away from the city. The staff were really incredible and answered all questions that we had. Bon was brilliant and helped us organise a car from the bridge to Sihanoukville, she made our stay incredibly easy.

The food is a bit limited but that being said the food was incredible!

"The scenery makes up for a lot and it was overall a pleasant short vacation."

Very beautiful location, perfect for kayaking! Staff are friendly.

The rooms and the entire complex are pretty run down and a bit shabby. No room service during our three nights stay. Half the price would have been enough. Restaurant is okay, but 90% of dishes are +10 USD and there are no vegetarian options.

We booked a riverside bungalow but we're given the tree houses, not a problem for us as Id always wanted to stay in a tree house.. Its very remote, with nowhere other to eat than there. Food was lovely, however if your a veggie maybe say in advance as the menu is quite limited, there were only 2 bottles of red wine there while our group was there and we demolished them quite quickly. The rooms were really beautiful, and it was a joy to spend the night there. The river was clean for swimming although the steps and deck need updated cause they were a little rotten. The waterfall is rather small, and in the jungle, if going remember to wear the right attire, we asuumed it was near the camp and went in flip-flops only to be greeted by a Malaysian pit-viper, wonderful experience to see a snake but the staff need to make visitors wear appropriate gear.

Food is expensive, with a small menu.

"one of the most unique and beautiful and comfortable places we’ve ever been to!"

10.0

The natural unspoilt beauty and tranquility, the clean freshwater river to swim in, the comfort and gorgeously creative style of the buildings, the ecological efforts, the kindness and friendliness of the staff (especially Bun who is an Angel l!!), free kayaks, a nearby waterfall to kayak and swim in, swimming from our front porch, the amazing food, the price, absolutely everything! Thank you again Bun, you made our stay so amazing!

We had a wonderful 3 night 4 day stay here. The floating rooms are really comfortable. The bed is the nicest we have had during all our travels around Cambodia. Really relaxing to sit on your own private deck and read and I think this is what you would come here for, the peaceful environment and tranquillity. The staff and owner/manager were good, kind, and helpful. You're able to use the kayaks, though check them for water worthiness as they are not all sealed properly, or ask a member of staff if in doubt. There are life jackets. The river is perfectly safe for swimming in, clean, no strong currents, although they really need to offer a small ladder or something to help you get back onto your deck, I'm strong enough to pull myself up, but my wife isn't, and I suspect 70% of people, or most people over 40, would struggle. You are right by the water, so if taking young children, you will need to supervise them the whole time, most rooms, the walkways, restaurant and reception are floating on the water, we were aware of this before booking, and management even asked if we wanted to relocate to a land based room, but I imagine people could easily book and then complain that it's not safe for children, the resort isn't really designed with children in mind, which is fine. There is a nice waterfall 15 minutes walk through the jungle, with refreshing, cool water to relax in or beside. A couple of boat trips are offered, at an additional cost. I'd certainly recommend a stay and would come back again.

Only a couple of negatives. The price of the food is expensive, very. We have always found the Cambodian islands expensive for food, but everything has to be sent a significant distance by boat, and at least there, there are other places you can go to, or even shops to buy food. Here, you have no other choice but to use the restaurant, or consume snacks you have brought with you, but there is no fridge in your room so storing stuff is an issue. The menu is quite small, only Khumer food options, and fries, and no children's options. Each dish was on average $10, so without drinks each meal was costing us $30.That said, the food portion was ok, a little on the small side, but was really tasty and fresh. We enjoyed the food, we just found it very expensive for what it was. But if you're not keen on Khumer food, or like a bit more variety this will be an issue. The other issue could be the wifi. It was only available in the public areas and was only available 50% of the time. Not really a problem for us, but if you do need it for work, or to remain in comms for whatever reason, it could be. Also, we have Cambodian Cellcard sims and had no reception at the resort or anywhere we could walk to from it.

"Amazing location let down by the food cost"

6.0

Amazing location on the river near Tatai. We stayed in the tall bungalows which had a beautiful view of the river. A waterfall was in walking distance from the resort - about 20mins - which our kids loved! There was not much internet access which is good if you want to get away from it all! Staff were very helpful and always friendly and accommodating.

Only downside was the cost of the food and having to wait a long time for it to be prepared. Considering guests don’t have any other options to buy meals (no other restaurants or shops nearby) it was very disappointing to have to wait up to 2 hours from ordering to receiving the meals. And the cost did not match the food quality unfortunately. However the other positives outweighed this negative and we would most likely stay here again without the kids next time!
