Breakfast was amazing good variety and choices, friendly staff

Such a cute little cottage, decorated to a high spec. Very clean and super cosy. The welcome basket was a lovely touch, and the breakfast in the Old Pudding Shop was gorgeous. I loved reading through the visitor book and got a couple of recommendations. The carpark is a few mins walk away but dead handy to have.

I do think in the listing, it should mention the rules about dogs. They aren't allowed on the furnishings (couches) and *strictly* not allowed upstairs, which we only learned when we received our email a few days before arrival with check-in info. It felt more than dogs were tolerated rather than welcomed. For this reason, we wouldn't book again, which is a shame. Highly rating the property despite this as everything else exceeded our expectations. We also understand why dogs aren't allowed upstairs (people with allergies), I think there needs to be more transparency before booking.

The cottage is beautiful very twee ,

There’s nowhere to unload your car apart from on the side of a very busy road. And the Car Parking provided with their accommodation is a 5 to 10 minute walk away, which means you can’t really carry that many things to the house.

The bed was a bit soft but that’s just a preference.

We had a fantastic time. The location is perfect. The accommodation has everything you require and the owners go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Even giving you a free breakfast at an amazing restaurant in the centre of Bakewell

I loved the cottage especially the patio area it was a little sun trap were we could 😎 chill with our 🍷 It was central too The welcome box was really good and the breakfast at the shop was delicious

I would have preferred an upstairs bathroom but that's not a complaint just my preference
