Ella Jungle Rock

Beautiful location with the most amazing host family. Situated right under a waterfall so we were able to spend the day hiking up to the top and swimming at the bottom, expertly guided by the host. We spent the evening learning to cook from the talented hostess using food she had grown in her garden. Nothing is to much trouble, they sort transfers to and from hotel with lovely tuk tuk driver and gave us loads of advice with how to get to our next stop.

Wer ein Abenteuer sucht ist hier genau richtig. Unsere netten Gastgeber haben uns bestens versorgt, sowohl mit köstlichen Essen als auch mit Tipps für die Umgebung. Wir waren auf ihren Rat auf dem Ella Rock und es war richtig schön. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man über die Bahngleise, ein tolles Erlebnis, rüber nach Ella wandern. Nachts hat man hier den schönsten Sternenhimmel den man auf der hauseigenem Hängematte genießen kann. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Danke für alles.

Awesome 2 night stay in a beautifully decorated cottage giving onto some incredible waterfalls. Most of all, the family that runs it who really care and make sure you feel just like at home. Delicious breakfast!!

This is a place for people who love nature and are not afraid of chalennges because it is really in the middle of jungle. You have to climb a little but it is all worth the effort. The waterfall and the hosts are amazing.

Les vistes a la cascada i el tracte amb la família, ella ens ha preparat els millors esmorzars de la nostra estada al país! I a la nit vérem, a part de la Via Làctia, luciernagas. Increïble i molt recomanable pels amants de la natura. Gràcies, família!

This place is just perfect! It is hard to describe with words. You live next to the owners - sweetest family in the world. They help you with everything! - You want to hike = The dad will guide you - You want cooking class = The mom is ready to teach - You want to be entertained = The son will show you all his small hobbies and projects! - You hungry = The mom will cook the best and biggest meal for you. They take you in as family. Besides that the room is great, hot water and everything you need. View is amazing and you can swim in the waterfall pool. They help you with planning your day and have many driving contacts.

Real hidden gem in Ella area with absolutely stunning view and warm Sri Lankan hospitality by the hosting family. wish we could have stayed more.

it was a very relaxing stay at the foot of the waterfalls, not very easy to reach the accommodation, climbing down a steep path, a lovely host family, very helpful and supportive. We made an early morning climb with the host to Ella Rock
