North King Motel

Location was good. It was very quiet. Staff was friendly. Check in was easy.

Visibly dirty. Clump of hair in shower. Few hairs / pubes in bed. I don’t think they change the sheets or clean the rooms at all.

This motel is great. It's a typical roadside motel, with a fridge and a microwave. I usually stay here when I'm in town if they have rooms. There's a heater/AC under the window, and also hot baseboard heat along the walls. There are lamps and also some nice bright cove lighting. The owners are friendly. Check-in is 1 PM which is earlier than most places. The windows face some trees and you can open them for ventilation. The price is very reasonable, especially for Northampton, which is a high hotel cost area. Also located very conveniently to the River Valley Co-op where you can go get some snacks and a hot meal.

Be careful of the raised median in the driveway. It's black without any markers and easy to drive into at night.

Check-in and check-out was painless The rate was a lot better than what I was seeing in town

The room smelled very musty and dank when we arrived, and that lingered even after we had run the AC for a few hours
