Modern-New Build Apartment in Birmingham

This property cancelled on me at 11:00pm the night before. Leading me to book a property much more expensive on the day of check-in to a different property. I was sleeping and hadn't seen the message waking up in a complete panic attack after seeing the message the following day. This sort of behaviour is very unprofessional. As I had it booked 2 months prior to my trip. More warning than the night before with a message sent so late in the night should have been given...

Lounge blind was broken and was on the floor when we arrived so no privacy. The bedroom blind was also broken so the room was in darkness during the day. No lamp in the bed room just the main lights. This made it difficult as once the light was switched off the room was pitch black.

- Unresponsive host. Had to call numerous times to get information on key - Says there’s parking just for host to say “Park on the road at your own risk” -Apartment was GRIM, there was dirty clothes still in the washing machine and beds weren’t made. Stains on towels - Host promised to compensate but changed his mind as soon as we left the apartment. - Pictures on listing do not match apartment (unless he’s changed it now lol). He advertises as 3 beds but in reality there is one creaky double bed and one sofa (not even a sofa bed). The lack of attention to this property is comedic

Pillows and mattress were a bit firm but still had a good sleep

It was supposed to have a balcony and supposed to have car parking didn’t have either

I really can't say I like anything at all about this

Our apartment wasn't available and was asked to sleep in the host's apartment felt uncomfortable and unsafe and asked for a refund and left I will say I was given a refund with no problem
