GBThe room was spotless, and very nicely presented, and the bed was really comfortable.
LBThe Penn has a boutique hotel vibe and a very nice interior. It's self check-in with no reception but staff was responsive and helpful.
The only thing we didn't like is that it's located on the main road connecting the lakes so it was busy with traffic in the evening when we trying to sleep, even with windows closed. Unfortunately there were no other rooms available that we could move into but i don't think this would have solved the issue given all rooms face the main road.

BGThe room was really cosy and we really liked the interior. The location was great as it was walkable from the train station.
There was no reception or staff during our full stay which made it difficult because we couldn't leave our luggage when we arrived before check in time so we had to pay £10 for luggage storage at the Information centre which also closes at 4:30pm so we had to go back to get the luggage before then. The room was really cold, the thermostat showing 19 degrees and we could turn on the radiator even after contacting the host despite them telling us they have turned it up from their side. The sink was really tricky to use as it was splashing water everywhere. Lastly the main lamp in the room was flashing when turned off so it was hard to fall asleep.
