DEAmazing building. Beautiful room and I'd love to know where the bed was from. They made a fuss for my birthday and made sure our dog was comfortable. Great location for the town centre and train station. Lovely dog friendly bars and pubs nearby
Wish there was somewhere to leave the bags. The information centre to leave them is only over the road but they charge. Its a little far from the lake (suggest getting the bus)

GBThe aesthetic and finish of The Penn is really nice, the staff were quick to respond to any queries and the location is ideal for a weekend visit to Windermere.
Unfortunately the toiletries provided were empty or broken (shower gel & hand soap) which could have been checked before arrival. The heating was difficult to work, the radiators were turned off, but again this could have been checked by staff before arrival. Ceilings and stairs are narrow and low so uncomfortable if you are tall.
GBWe stayed in room 15 which was absolutely stunning and had with everything we could have needed for a weekend in the Lakes. Ours had a bath in the room which was gorgeous and the bath bomb with the toiletries was a lovely touch!
