Peaceful, has its own driveway. Very clean, tidy, everything to hand, that you’d expect in your own home. Breakfasts that were supplied were delicious

A beautiful quiet place to stay. Recently renovated to a high standard and with a lovely breakfast provided, you couldn't really ask for more. We will definitely look here before booking anywhere else in the Penzance area!

Everything was spotless and in excellent condition, making The Garden House a wonderful base for our visits to Mousehole, the Minack Theatre, and St. Michael’s Mount. The accommodation offers ample space, which was a refreshing change after some of the more cramped B&Bs we’d stayed in before. We were especially grateful that our host, Sarah, had the rooms ready for us, even though we arrived earlier than expected due to the rainy weather. The scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam on arrival were a delightful touch! While only a continental breakfast is provided, there’s a Sainsbury’s just a 5-minute drive away, where you can stock up on hogs pudding, sausages, bacon, and more to cook up an English breakfast just the way you like it.

We had a wonderful week staying at the Garden House. The facilities are of a high standard and very clean. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need for a short stay. We had a couple of chilly nights in late September, but the underfloor heating kept us warm and cosy, which was a great bonus. Sarah was a great host and told us about all the best places to eat in the local area. She also supplied croissants, orange juice, and milk each morning. We found this place much more comfortable than a normal hotel or B&B because of the extra space, which made us feel more at home.

One thing to note is that getting the car in and out of the drive is a bit tight, especially if someone parks opposite the entrance.

The Garden House is a perfect location for exploring Cornwall. The accommodation is exceptional, and was clearly designed with guests' comfort and convenience in mind. We especially appreciated the king size bed with crisp cotton sheets and the well-equipped kitchen, as well as the little private patio which was a perfect place to sit and relax. The freshly-baked croissants and pains-au-chocolat were a huge treat while muesli, yoghurt, orange juice, honey and jam were also provided. This is a wonderful place to stay when you are visiting Cornwall.

We honestly cannot think of anything that we did not like or that could have been improved!

Possibly provide few more mugs/ glasses as either had to wash up each time used or put dishwasher on when it was half full Church bells ringing every hour bit annoying (I'm a very light sleeper!)

Greeted with a Cornish cream tea on arrival, the place was perfect for our stay and spotlessly clean. The lovely breakfast of fresh pastries & granola, fruit & juice was the perfect start to a weekend of coast path walking. Ideally situated, we were able to leave the car at the garden house & walk directly to the coast path. Everything we needed was at the garden house.

Wouldn’t change a thing! Perfect for our needs. Thank you Sarah.
