The Garden House

The Apartment was kitted out with all mod cons you could need. even underfloor heating which was excellent on the wood floors. Fresh breakfast items each day and the host even washed a couple of plates we'd left on sink side to wash later! The patio area is a great area to chill, private and a sun trap in the early afternoon. Huge comfortable Queen sized bed.

There was nothing that was an issue, I suppose if you don't like church bells in the distance, which we are used to and like to hear, or a peaceful rural setting, then well?

Very cosy and super clean, fantastic location with a parking spot. Everything we need is included with breakfast 😋. Will definitely book again in the future. Thank you, Sarah.

There is nothing to dislike.

The location was amazing, set in a village, within walking distance of the beach and Penzance. It was perfect for our holiday base, to visit the Jubilee pool, St Ives, Hayle, St Michael’s Mount, the Lizard, Lands End, the Minack theatre and many of the beautiful fishing communities, coves and beaches. We had the choice of three supermarkets nearby. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and with everything we needed and more. It was finished to a very high standard. A real home from home, with an extra large bed, a beautiful bath and separate shower. The outside space was private with garden furniture, also enabling us to store our bikes securely and off road parking. Sarah was very welcoming and helpful, throughout our stay, with the added bonus of fresh pastries, cereals, milk and orange juice everyday. We hope to visit again.

This is a great little place to stay in Gulval right opposite the lovely church. It was very convenient to where I needed to be for the few days and a short walk into Penzance, to the beach at Long Rock, and also an easy walk to Marazion. The little apartment is beautifully decorated, has everything you need, and a well equipped kitchen. The host is lovely and left us fresh croissants every day.

The church bells ring all night on the hour - they sound lovely but woke me up - so we had to close the windows to block out the sound, but that's mainly because I am a light sleeper. Windows closed blocked the sound effectively.

Exceptionally tidy and clean. Great location. Fantastic host welcomed us on arrival. Breakfast was provided as well, which was greatly appreciated.

Slightly too far to walk into town but parking is available in town and at the stay. No other issues.
