INThe location was good, close to the river bank
The staff is very bad, very unruly, impolite, they are arrogant and extremely unresponsive. Did mot mention how far we have to walk to reach the hotel from the point of drop. The managing staff is very il mannared, doesn‘t know how to deal with guest eapecially being in hospitality business. The breakfast is limited in options amd just one thing per person, which is also not the problem but they never mentioned it anywhere. Please take into consideration all the points before booking the property

Approaching the property is not at all good. We had to pass through narrow lanes for over 600 mts. The staff was not well behaved. I had to forgo the advance paid and stayed in another property.
FRI booker a room with 2 big Bed at the Clayton Hôtel. When we arrived, the réceptionnist told us there was no room and he brought us into an other Hôtel that they have. There was only one bed, not clean at all, water in the shower and cold water only. And we had to pay an extra 500 roopies we don’t know why.
INBest hotel experience ever everything was soo flawless
USLocation is close to ghat and river but too far to motor transport. That is a long, convoluted walk with luggage. Old style architecture with balconies was interesting but not maintained.
Rooftop "breakfast room" was dire. Breakfast very minimal.
