Villa Nutmeg Grove Galle

Everything was great. House is only 700 m away from the city centre, and it vas very clean and fully equipmented. Host was friendly and helpful.

The host was warm and welcoming the accommodation was excellent with good facilities, air con, fridge, kettle etc. There is a gate on the outside which leads to a beautiful secluded garden with lovely trees and plants. The road leading up to the property is great. You get a real feal of Sri Lanka with residential areas and a educational centre nearby. The actual name of the street is Jaill Street. We actually walked to Galle Fort from there no problem and the main station is less than 10 mins away.. the property is very quite at night and we loved everything about the place. This was Hands down the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka out of the 8 accommodations we tried. And we always went for the best we could find in every area. The host was a real gentleman which you never saw unless you needed him. Also great Internet.

Nothing. We loved it.

This is a small self contained cottage - totally private. You will have small kitchen facilities, very comfortable bed, sofa and table. It is very secure as you have a padlock to lock the gate into the property. There are many little touches that he has thought of to make your stay pleasant - even providing new toothbrushes etc. Our host was exceedingly hospitable and gracious, and willing to do anything for us at any time of night or day. Although I had not included any food with the price, our host surprised us with a very big breakfast of Sri Lankan delicacies on New Year’s day. Everything is spotlessly clean, inside and out. The laneway to it is very narrow, but it’s a short walk to a very big supermarket that can sell you whatever you need. If you don’t want a big hotel and prefer completely privacy, then I can definitely recommend!

Everything. So clean and comfortable and private. Location was walking distance to the Fort. Large sitting area and kitchenette. The owners were so helpful and generous to me. I was on my own and needed steering!

The only suggestion I’d make is to make sure you have google maps to find it.

Brilliant host, they gave us a nice food treat before we left for the airport, lots of tea and coffee as well as juice and coconut water along the way. Really can't fault it, it was the perfect end to our month holiday in Sri Lanka! Sheets are clean and nice. Garden is beautiful too!

Very spacious and clean apartment. It is quite new so everything is in pristine condition. The host was very friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay here.
