Villa Nutmeg Grove Galle

It felt very cosy, tooked away just outside the fort. The host was very kind and brought us nice drinks. The tea on arrival was exceptional! Nice little garden

It was very close to the train lines, which made it a little noisy at night. Expecially as the trains go throughout the night

Our stay at the nutmeg grove was very good! The house is beautiful and good equipped. The host helped us with a lot of things and was very friendly! Would recommend it!

Great location (about 700m walk to the center, excellent host (very friendly and helpful), fully equipped cottage embraced with a small, beautiful and peaceful garden.

It is a perfect villa for those who like to enjoy quiet and peaceful time. The host was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I enjoyed very much the complimentary snacks on arrival and breakfast in the next morning. I highly recommend everyone visiting Galle to stay at this solitude villa.

We loved everything. The location is perfect, the host was soooo nice and checked on us everyday via whatsapp. Communication was really easy. He also offered complimentary breakfast on our last day. The home was super clean, the bathroom was modern, we also had some coffees and tea at our disposal. There is a mini fridge in the kitchen. Bed was ultra confortable, with AC in the room. We loved our stay and recommand it 100%. Very good value for money !!!

This is a real hidden gem. Close enough to the city centre but yet peaceful and comfortable. It is very new so everything is in great condition and the bed sheets and pillows are incredibly comfortable. 5-10 minutes walk from local restaurants and about 20 minutes to the Fort. Great spot for those with cars as it can be locked in at night. 11 minutes walk from the train station. 10 minutes walk from KFC and large supermarket 🤣 The host is an apsoloutle gem understands space yet there to help with anything you need. Just book already !!!!

Slightly bigger sign for the gate would be great. The current one is very small and Google maps has the location back about 40 metres.

Very clean and spacious. The host was welcoming and helpful with any questions I had about the area and transport routes. The accomodation has everything you need to be comfortable. Close to train/bus and fort. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

The location is perfect, it's right in the middle of the city, so near to galle port area and the city and the beaches. The host treat me like a family, very welcome and helping me for every single things I asked or I need and give suggestions where to go The place is clean, has a nice design and feels like it is in the middle of nature even though it's located in the city center area One more thing, it's so near to the bus stand or train station, you have the option for your next destination, either by train or bus

Seemingly as described. Homely stay, conveniently located in the heart of beautiful Galle city, short walk away from famous galle Fort. The host was really helpful and responsive. 100% recommended and will be back!

One of the villa's greatest advantages is its easy access from public transport, making our arrival and departure smooth and stress-free. The location is perfect for exploring Galle, as it provides easy access to the main attraction we wanted to visit, Galle Fort. It was so convenient to get there, allowing us to fully enjoy the historic site without any travel hassle. Additionally, Villa Nutmeg Grove is close to local markets, which was a huge benefit. Whether we needed fresh produce or wanted to explore the local shopping scene, everything was just a short walk away. In the evenings, the villa was wonderfully peaceful, providing a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The host was exceptionally responsive to our requests and went above and beyond by providing us with some insider tips for visiting Galle, which greatly enhanced our experience. Overall, I 100% recommend Villa Nutmeg Grove. With its cleanliness, convenient location, peaceful ambiance, and attentive host, it truly made our trip to Galle memorable.
