My Oasis

Posizione ottima per un on the road dato che rappresenta una tappa obbligata per chi passa dalla Death Valley al Sequoia o viceversa. La proprietaria super simpatica ci ha spiegato tutto nei minimi dettagli, la camera è bellissima all'interno di un garage decorata come un museo della Route 66. Nonostante la colazione non fosse inclusa, ci hanno offerto toast, marmellate e burro d'arachidi. Distributore di m&m's in camera di 3 gusti differenti. Inoltre, la signora ci ha anche consigliato di prepararci un bel milkshake grazie al latte, la panna e i diversi gusti che ci ha lasciato in frigorifero, era ottimo! Possiedono anche una piscina in cortile ed è a disposizione anche degli ospiti. Gradito il parcheggio e il bagno dotato di tutto.

La camera è situata all’interno di un garage con tutti oggetti anni 50, davvero molto originale, una bella esperienza ed è pulito. I signori proprietari sono molto disponibili e amichevoli

Rhonda and Mick were super welcoming hosts, showing us around the property and explaining all the facilities. The place was very clean, well presented, and equipped. The motoring memorabilia and 50s furniture and decor made the stay such a special experience and something very much out of the ordinary. They were wonderful to chat to and exchange stories and experiences, and Mick especially shared with us a wealth of information about V8 engine building, drag racing and cruiser cars. Overall a really fun and special experience and we would totally recommend a stay here.

Very comfortable and clean. Great location to see the Fourth of July fireworks.

Bakersfield isn’t the most popular place but the hosts have been nothing but happy to help and very curious helped us with some last minute details that we really appreciate!

Exceptional hosts truly provide an oasis in Bakersfield. Excellent shower, comfortable bed, fun snacks.

It was quirky, but it was comfortable and clean. Lots of motorcar racing memorabilia to look at. It has everything you need and the couple who run it are great .

Nothing, though the nearest local bar was hard to like, so buy something to drink before you get there and sit by the pool

The location was safe and in a good location. The extra bonuses on treats to make the stay nostalgic and fun was a pleasant surprise. Michael and Rhonda made me feel at home. Great people 😊
