War welcome, food is excellent, room is confortable and very clean A lot of activities to do in nature (prabat the owner is a guide)

I will give a few segmented reviews for this. Otherwise, I don't think I can do a justice for this amazing place!!! 1. Customer service - Exceptional. The host is really friendly and responsive. Made us feel like home. Helped us find a naturalist plus offered us a free ride. Specially adjusted rate for locals. 5000/5 🌟 2. Place - located with the best view facing sinharaja across a paddy field. It's a 10-minute distance to Pitadeniya sinharaja entrance. ( from tuk tuk 300 LKR approx ). Room is a very cosy, clean, bathroom massive and comes with hot water. I have nothing to complain about. It's really worth the money. What I have noticed is that it is a really good condition compared to other places in the sinharaja area. 5000/5 🌟 3. Food - The host's wife can cook really well, food was so good we ordered all the meals there. Price is really cost-effective. There is a nice out door dinning area which you can have a nice meal with your loved ones with a magnificent view. We got breakfast with the rate as part of the deal. It was really good. Milk tea was offered to us FOC all the time we were there. 10000/5 🌟 4. Dog Shaggy - As a dog lover, there is nice well mannered dog to accompany you throughout the stay. My heart breaks to leave him. I will definitely miss our evening sun set watching. 10000/5 🌟 5. Naturalist - He is the host's brother. I would definitely recommend him in a heartbeat. He has really passionate energy toward what he does. From how sinharaja name started, all the folklore stories, all biological information, a great photographer. He got everything you need to accompany you in the hike. We were able to see lots of animals and a great time! I am highly recommending him. 5000/5 🌟 Overall, this is one of the best experiences I have had. I am 1000 % recommending this place. I will definitely come back! Thank you for everything ❤️

I have only good thoughts when I am thinking about this place. When I arrived I got greeted by Prubad and his wife with a big smile. Even when it was already passed lunchtime they asked me if I wanted lunch after my long trip.The pictures on the site do not really justice. It is a lot nicer. The place is new, the bathroom is super. There is a shower for cold and hot water. Prubad and his wife will do anything to make you feel at home. The first night I just been sitting on the terrace watching the thunderstorm and the fireflies flying around...it was wonderful. They have a small menu where you can choose from for breakfast, lunch and diner because you are in the jungle and there is not much around. You do not need to look for a tourguide, you can do it with them. You have different choices for tours and Prubad knows a lot about nature. I can write here a whole story how good it was but will not do that. Do not hesitate if you want to stay in the rainforest. You will not regret it

Everything is new, bathroom is amazing, not smth you expect to see in the forest :) Hot water also available. We booked a tour in the forest with the owner for 70 usd in total (2 ppl), loved it! Highly recommend the place and the tour. Not many reviews because place is brand new.

We ordered dinner, food was ok, could be better

The accommodation is very cozy. Diirectly overlooking the jungle and rice fields. The room is very nice and clean. Prabath is direct and friendly guy.🙂 it is worth doing the tour with him.

Lovely place to stay, right on the edge or Sinharaja forest. This place is brand new so it doesn't have a lot of reviews yet, but don't let that turn you off as I'm sure it's going to have tons of great reviews soon! The house itself is brand nee and I think it's even nicer in person than in the pictures. You have absolutely gorgeous views of the rice fields from your patio- in the 3 days I was there I saw it in sun, fog, clouds and rain and all were beautiful! You might even spot wild peacocks or eagles. The food was great as well- breakfast is included and you can order other meals as needed. I did the forest tour with the owner. I had read many reviews from other people who were unhappy with the guides they got from the park entrance so I was happy to go with Prabath, who was recommended by a friend. He was very knowledgeable about the forest and really went out of his way to make sure I was happy. I opted for the longer (6 hour) tour and I was glad I did - gave me plenty of time to photograph all the animals we found, as well as swim and have lunch at a beautiful waterfall. You can even jump from the top of the falls if you're feeling adventurous! Don't expect to see large animals in the forest, but we spotted lots of lizards, bugs, snakes and even a mama bird feeding her babies and I was able to get some great photos. Thanks for everything!

I stayed here for two nights. The guest house is very new and furnished to a very high standard. I was greeted with juice and fruit. The hosts were extremely courteous and friendly. Breakfast was included, lunch and dinner could be chosen from a menu with fair prices and was very tasty. The accommodation is very easy to reach on foot from the Mederipitiya bus stop, but the host also offered to pick me up from there. On my departure day, I was kindly taken to the bus stop and helped to find the right bus to my next destination. In summary, I was very impressed with the hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts and I would definitely recommend booking this accommodation.

The room is very clean and nice. Family welcome you and take Care of you as 6 stars hôtel. Food was Amazing , too good ! The Big Plus is all activities that the owner propose (water falls, rainforest, reserve with Savage animals éléphants, fox, peacock, crocodiles...) We enjoyed a lot and will Come back soon
