Ora Beach Resort

The resort is nice considering el nido overall situation , room clean and bed was comfortable , balcony was also good to have .

What I found incredible was the lack of Wi-Fi in my room , as mobile data coverage was also very poor ; a Wi-Fi amplifier costs 10-15€ on Amazon and we paid over 200€ x night , incredible how none moves a finger to fix this situation .

I like that the property as it’s the center of the beach.

The location is acceptable, but the remainder of the establishment is below standard. The cost for our four-night stay does not match the level of service provided here. The buffet breakfast is extremely disappointing. Be aware that they do not offer a basic breakfast. I didnt even see a single piece of bacon during my entire stay. While I’m not complaining about this, a pricey resort like this should not serve such poor breakfast options, especially considering it's the most important meal of the day. My son fell ill from the food after we checked out. Everything contains MSG, even a simple fried rice. The only safe option to eat here is eggs, which you can request and are made to order. Aside from that, the food is of substandard quality. It's quite revolting. The room is acceptable, but it still does not justify the amount paid for it.

Dont stay here. We booked in for our honeymoon over Christmas 2024. We paid 1500 PHP per person for a Christmas eve buffett, but there was hardly any food available only 1hr into service and the place was empty. Breakfast was included in our stay but there was litterly no food for Christmas breakfast, the staff were appoligetic but it was very frustrating, so we had to buy Breakfast every morning. The bar has no change when we pay cash. The room has no window and very little hot water and the only gave us hand towel to dry ourselves. The jacuzzi has very cold water and doesn't actually work. We spoke to other guest and they are also very unhappy. There were 96 guests staying and it is not staffed or stocked properly at all. On check out we were given the money back for the Christmas eve dinner due to the complaints, but considering 3 nights cost $720 Aud or 25855 PHP getting getting $41 ( 1500 PH ) returned is pointless. There are far better and nicer hotels on the island, don't waste your money

The location is fantastic, everything thing is within walking distance, the staff is awesome always smiling and welcoming very helpful, they will arrange everything for you from touring to airport transportation just tell them, the resort is small but they hangs with the big chain resorts, there restaurant is magnificent, spacious rooms we will stay again, we highly recommend:

Positives Excellent location, friendly reception staff, great facilities, helpful with tours. Negatives The Wi-Fi is poor but it poor in the area. The gym wasn’t cleaned (no fresh cups and very hot) The restaurant service was extremely poor considering the rating and cost of the hotel. They didn’t take your order, often forgetting main parts of the meals and drink orders. No table service, had to ask for table water and go to the bar to be served. Some of the staff were more interested in sitting behind the computer applying make up, chatting and generally having a good social time. Not all staff as some were good at their job. Positives Towards the end of our stay a lady manager came and reorganised staff and the last days were showing excellent services and order. This new management gives great promise to the hotel and because of this new addition I have awarded good. I’m sure it would soon be excellent.
