Kawah Padi Garden Villa Langkawi

Mun and Afeq were very kind and helpful, as well as generous. They helped us in every way they could, even with our onward travel when it was time for us to leave. We hired a motorbike from them which was a great way to get around the island. Kawah Villa is a wonderful and relaxed place and we will certainly be back!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

I heard about this lovely place from friends whom stay for near 2 weeks. From the moment my friend and I arrived at Kawah Padi Garden Villa, we were welcomed like old friends rather than guests. We lucky to meet the owner Mr Mun (quite friendly and chatters person), Manager Afeq and his team of volunteers proved to be a group of friendly people, genuine, and kindhearted people who played a major part in making our stay unforgettable. This homestay is ideally centre located in the heart of Langkawi, making it easy to explore the entire island with the scooters. We enjoy the morning view of sunrise, with later we surrounded at the breakfast bar by the lovely cats, chicken and ducks.They had a few choices daily breakfast with few local pastries, really such delicious breakfast. At the end, we stay more days from what we suppose to stay.

When i arrive to this marvellous place- I told to myself what a "OWowowow", Seriously its worth my stay, honestly it didn't disappoint me at all. I wish i can stay longer, the location to be very good if you want to visit the important points of the island because you are in the middle of everything. The staff is very superbly kind and friendly. Mun the owner , Afeq and the rest of the staff- doing a great job from the moment your wake up till you head back to your bed, their always there to make sure everything goes well..There is good atmosphere and I spent good time with the staff drinking, chatting and playing cards . I will definitely return to this place.If you looking for home treat you like a family , come to Kawah Padi Garden Villa Thanks for everything! All the best guys.

In need of a change of scenery after a few tough years back home, we found ourselves in Langkawi—spoiled for choice, yet lucky enough to stumble upon this hidden gem. From the moment we arrived at Kawah Padi Garden Villa, we were welcomed like old friends rather than guests. Manager Afeq and his team of volunteers—Mabel, Aleem, and Enzo—proved to be a group of sweet, genuine, and kindhearted people who played a major part in making our stay unforgettable. This homestay is ideally located in the heart of Langkawi, making it easy to explore the entire island with the scooter they arranged for us. We initially booked for five nights but ended up staying for four more—proof of how much we enjoyed our time here. And we’ll certainly be returning to see how Mun and his team continue to shape this special place over time.

If you're looking for luxury, this might not be the place for you. But if you're looking for something far more valuable—warmth, authenticity, and a true sense of belonging—you’ll find it here. Despite its simplicity, we had everything we could have asked for. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the breakfast was delicious, and the drinks—especially Afeq’s Coffee Sours—were a delightful surprise. Our stay at Kawah Padi was a perfect reminder of how little it takes to find joy and experience moments of true happiness.

Mun the owner was very friendly and Afiq the manager was very helpful. Had a wonderful time during my stay there. Really enjoyed the morning sunrise surrounded by the picturesque hill range and paddy fields. Would highly recomend this place

Wonderful place in the middle of the eiland. Very clean all the people are so helpful and nice. They make you feel so at home. Very fresh and nice breakfast and wonderful coffee every morning! Would go back there definitely 😎

Staying in a little paradise in the middle of Langkawi ☀️❤️ Everything here is so amazing, it has a chill vibe here. Perfect place to relax in the middle of nature 🧘 but also perfect to have nice conversations and connection with other travelers and staff! Everyone here is super chill, Mun, the owner is kind guy very talkative so you wont feel bored. Same goes for Afeq, he makes the best coffee, that you can enjoy every morning for FREE!! ☕️ There are also some volunteers who make your stay at this place beautiful 🤍 So biggest thank you for Mabel 🇪🇸 and Rhea 🇨🇭 for making this pleace feel like home🙏🏻🤍
