Beautiful location with great views. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Lots of cats!! 🐱 comfortable room with fan and ac.

Very basic rooms. The window in the bathroom was broken, and I had to fix the sliding door to the bathroom as it wasn’t working correctly. Location is central but it doesn’t really provide any benefits, as you still have more or less the same distance to everywhere on the island as if you have a location at the beach. In the evening we had to walk 25 minutes until we found a restaurant that was open. Friendly staff, I think it is a great place for backpackers and many seem to stay multiple weeks. But for a couple in their 30+ you just feel out of place.

Had the pleasure of staying at Kawah Padi for 5 nights and we loved every minute of it. The room was just what we needed, super comfy bed and spacious. Afeq made us feel at home, we rented a scooter from him and he also helped us book onward travel. Would highly recommend!

I came here again (my third time already), it's kind a hidden gem in Langkawi. I love the nature & local environment of this place / area. Surround with beautiful sunset and sunrise, it's such a peaceful & calm environment also surrounds with friendly & good vibe people. When I was there, I'm so lucky to meet the owner of this place, Mr Mun whom just awesome, very helpful and full of good advice, so with his manager Mr Afeq with whole crew and staff. To me, this place felt like home. Definitely wil come back here again with my friends.

I had a friend stay here before and recommended to me this place , what should i said the staff service and hospitality are beyond my imagination, Mr AfeQ the Manager in-charge and the whole staff put lots effort to make sure the guest are happy to stay here. I felt like home here, if you looking calm ,privacy, friendly local homestay with 10-star services you should choose and book your stay here.The room are clean and tidy, Even in their auto -message mentioned their not hotel but their really provided a good service more than just a hotel. I was lucky during my stay their organise a BBQ which are buffet for just RM35.00. Its hard to leave this place but i will come again, to enjoy the peace , the sunrise , the sunset and the vibe of Kawah Padi Garden Villa Langkawi.I felt home here. p/s : check their quality coffee

The location is excellent for what it meant to be - far from everything but close enough to drive moto to places. The communal space is lovely, great atmosphere and views Afeq was very helpful and accommodating.

Not a negative but worth bearing in mind, this is more of a hostel/homestay hybrid. A lot of young volunteers contribute to the feel. We had issue with the toilet running water as well but I believe that was taken care of after we left

A lovely and tranquil stay in front of beautiful fields. The room is basic but clean, and Afeq is incredibly kind and helpful. He is eager to share tips about Langkawi and make you feel at home. Highly recommend!

The location and staff

Beautiful homestay, so happy we booked here. The setting in nature with ducks, chickens, birds, cats is really relaxing and you can spend hot afternoons relaxing in their communal area. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, think toast jam and fruits with some local pastries sometimes available. We don't drive bikes so booked grabs everywhere and this was easy. The manager is super friendly and so is the owner. Volunteers run the housekeeping and upkeep of the grounds. Comfy bed with 2 pillows per person, warm shower, good AC, shampoo and conditioner, fast WiFi for working. Excited to see how much the homestay transforms and hopefully we'll be back 1 day. Be aware it's a homestay with a relaxed vibe. If you're after a hotel or fully serviced guesthouse this wouldn't be the place to come. But that's why we loved it! 1 recommendation for the owner would be bigger towels for showering and then the bathroom would be perfect

The view is amazing and so peaceful! The staff and owner Mun are just awesome people very helpful and full of good advice!
