The Tobacco Loft

Our stay at The Tobacco Loft was absolutely perfect. It’s very quirky and unlike any place I’ve ever stayed- we loved it. I was worried the 2 of us wouldn’t fit on the chair but it was very spacious and super comfy. Alan was amazing throughout and left us a really thoughtful welcome basket. We’ll definitely be back!!

The tabocco loft was perfect for us. The design and decor throughout is cosy, historic and comfortable. The facilities are great too, lots of heat, fantastic hot shower, and everything you need in the kitchen. Alan was so helpful and accommodating, even left us a small goodie basket with some refreshments that were all delicious. Information provided for things to do in the local area and beyond. It is next to the town center as well so everything is right on your doorstep. This was really a perfect trip made so by the tobacco loft.

Amazing attention to detail, making the property a delight to stay in for a few days. Friendly and warm hosts. Good walking routes from the door and a central location. I prefer to do my own catering and I don't eat out because of allergies, so having good kitchen equipment was essential for me. The TL had everything I needed to prepare my food. The property was clean and the hosts were lovely and welcoming.

This property was great, it had everything you could wish for and more. The attention to detail from the hosts was amazing, it had really quirky decor and felt so cosy. we was also left a welcome hamper and some treats for the dog which was very thoughtful so thank you ☺️Location was great too, we spent a day at Rydal caves and Ambleside which was only a short drive away and another day in Windermere which was also close enough from Kendall. There was no issue with parking near the house as the property provides a permit for your stay so you are covered for many roads near the house. We had the best time and would recommend to anyone looking 😊

Would be good if there was more storage for clothes (bigger wardrobe space)

Well thought out - fabulous use of space. The Tobacco Loft was clean and luxurious.

Only a slight niggle but the location is right in the centre so it is quite noisy traffic wise. Parking was not an issue for us as we managed to get parked right outside but I can imagine this may not always be the case.

We loved everything about this place It was a real Gem of a place Had everything you will ever need The owners have thought of everything Loads of little goodies and gifts So cozy and modern 10/10

This property is fantastic and so different - it actually feels like something out of a fairytale and the Christmas touches just made it feel even more special. We stayed here for my wife's birthday and we couldn't have chosen anywhere better, as we absolutely loved it! The owners have been really clever in how they have developed the property and used the space so well (you just keep seeing/finding great little features all the time) . Communications with the owners was great and the property couldn't be in a more central location to enjoy everything that Kendal has to offer. I very rarely leave reviews but I just had to for this property, as I really can't recommend it highly enough and we will definitely be back.
