Mark and Arleta were excellent hosts, and very considerate of our needs. They were always contactable if needed. Breakfasts was good. Also Sunday lunch excellent! Not to be missed. Great position.

"More like an air BnB than a hotel"

We had a good river view. Not all rooms have this. The alternative is a view over a busy road. There is a large fully fitted and equipped kitchen complete with oven, fridge and microwave.

The room felt crowded out with one entire wall taken up with kitchen equipment. The room was not cleaned while we were there so I’m not sure how the establishment gets a good cleanliness rating.

"I would definitely stay at the Steam Packet again."

Breakfast was freshly cooked, nothing was too much trouble. Our bedroom was clean, bed was extremely comfortable and our room overlooked the River Adur. No negatives.
