The Steam Packet

A really lovely location. The hosts Arleta and Mark were most welcoming. The accommodation was great and we enjoyed our lovely breakfast. We would most definitely stay there again.

This was a very nice place to stay with lovely hosts. The breakfast was fabulous with eggs cooked to order and much more. The room is small but functional and very clean. There is a tiny kitchenette that is well-supplied. We highly recommend this place for a short stay. We were there for 3 nights. The Steam Packet is very convenient for the train station - just a short walk.

Super riverside location & view. Great having a kettle & fridge. Fabulous host and great breakfast.

A bit cramped once we’d unpacked and bought a pair of pillows for the 2nd night as mine were too lumpy for me.

The room was lovely and big and windows evry where to open kept it cool..

Very helpful and friendly Landlord couple. Excellent accommodation and personal service. Loved the Pub interior, and all the flowers on the windowcils. Accommodation very well thought out with a homely feel with antique furniture. Lovely beer garden with beautiful flowers. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Best scrambled eggs for breakfast ever!
