The Barn

Location - great. Close to supermarkets / pharmacy etc and central for travelling to Southwold etc. We will definitely stay here again. Spacious. Lovely decor. Very helpful host.

The living room was VERY cold. We've never known a log burner go through so much wood, we actually wondered if there was a fault with it? It also does not heat the living room up enough, we were very cold in there of an evening - even with the heating & fire on. Could do with a little plug in oil filled radiator that would heat the room up super quick. En-suite shower - no hot water to it at all, and a glass door missing?

Location was perfect, fully equipped and loads of space. Easy to find, quiet and restful

Difficult to control heating, either too hot or too cold. Parking was terrifying, very glad we brought the small car

Lovely space. Large and comfortable. We loved the wood burning stove (once we figured out how to use it! It is close to my in-laws so we could visit family while not being an imposition. We loved this space so much we booked to come back in April.

We loved everything. However I did notice the shower in the en-suite bedroom didn’t get very hot.

Renting a property in January and on arrival the heating is off. Didn't get to property until after dark. Went out for dinner so unable to make use of log burner to add extra warmth. Had to put children to bed with coats over the top of them. Still absolutely freezing cold downstairs in the morning. 2 single beds are metal framed and made an incredible amount of noise every time you moved on them.

Plenty of space , good location . Loved the decor and log burner . Bath was brilliant . Everything on doorstep yet quiet.

Shower in en suite needs attention and radiator not working so was cold in there. More shelving for toiletries required. Parking a large car would be tricky . Need coat pegs( especially now winter) on entering door . Downstairs toilet would be a good place for these.
