Everything’s was perfect, Kumari puts her whole heart in making your stay perfect. We ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much! Make sure you try some of her cooking for the dinner as it’s better than many restaurants we’ve tried. Also, she will help you organize anything from a local tuk tuk, Safari to a taxi ride further away! Thanks so much for having us!

Amazing hospitality and kindness right from the start. Great location in the forest close to Sigiriya. The home cooked meals for dinner were some of our best in Sri Lanka.

The hosts were very nice and friendly. They were helpful in every aspect. The food was delicious and the portions were huge.

Staying at Jungle Eco Lodge was hands-down my favorite experience in all of Sri Lanka. This hosts made you feel at home. From the moment I arrived, the family went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and cared for. I was lucky enough to be there on the night of their son’s birthday and got to witness an authentic Sri Lankan family celebration. The husband even took me personally in his tuktuk to Lion’s Paw, it’s like a family travel service. If you’re seeking genuine hospitality, Jungle Eco Lodge is a true gem. 😁 Their breakfast was like a Divine buffet of Sri Lanka treats.

This stay was a dream this is a real homestay. The stay was above and beyond of our expectations. First of all Kumari and all her family recives us with open arms. Secondly the room is confy and tidy with ac and all the features. I reccomend you to sit and relax on the outside terrace and breathe a real srylanka lifestayle and enjoy the wildlife. Thirdly I really recoomend let Kumari prepare some food. I’m a celiac and she helped and gave us all the advice we needed. She gave us the best breakfast and dinner we have triyed in sry lanka by far. Evething was delicius with miticolously care. Also, she offer us a Safari wich was fantastic and even they pic us from the homestay. We saw lot of elephants. Do not think it twice, this is the best option around Sigiriya and Lion Rock.

A very warm welcome from Kumari and her family. A delicious fruit juice for a warm welcome. You can trust Kumari; she does everything necessary to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your vacation. Staying here was such a lovely experience. Kumari and her family were incredibly warm and welcoming—we were greeted with fresh juice as soon as we arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was also amazing. The kottu she made was honestly the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka. The place is calm and surrounded by nature, yet very close to all the main attractions in Sigiriya. The room was very clean, and we had hot water throughout our stay. Don't think twice about booking this place!

An unforgettable stay! The family were the loveliest hosts—we were welcomed with warmth, treated to delicious homecooked meals, and even given fresh juices from their garden. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hospitality was outstanding. The kids were lovely, showed us their drums and gifted us drawings. We even took the boy for our elephant safari which was amazing. Everything is handled by the Host - tuktuks, transfers, safari, etc. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner - tastiest sri lankan food in big quantities (you might want to skip lunch :D) This homestay was the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful place! The cottage is very well and tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed, a good bathroom, and everything was spotlessly clean. There’s a lovely terrace where you’re served the best meals Sri Lanka has to offer, and you can fully relax in the lounge chairs. The lodge is run by an incredibly kind and hospitable family, who think along with you in everything and can help organize great trips. The days we spent here were amazing, and this was without a doubt the best place we stayed at in all of Sri Lanka. Dear family, thank you for your warm hospitality!
