Loch Maree Hotel

The room had a beautiful view.

Room was to hot, couldn't turn radiator off as the TRV was missing. Couldn't have a bath because the water pressure was so poor. Shower was hard to access because it's very low over the bath and the water pressure is poor. The water runs brown because it comes from the loch.

Great location, Duncan and Anna were friendly and attentive a lovely property all in all.

Mooi uitzicht, buiten zitten met een drankje, prima restaurant waardoor je niet meer weghoeft, prima bedden.

We waren voorbereid door de recensies dat er niet veel water uit de douche zou komen. Dat hadden we dus verwacht.

De locatie op doorreis NC500 aan het meer. De authenticiteit van het hotel. Oud hotel maar zag er netjes uit.

Die Lage am Loch

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Duncan, who was always ready for a bit of fun. Very comfortable and clean rooms.

Be careful of the mosquitoes in the evening. The terrace is located directly next to the lake. However, we were warned by Duncan.

The location - we had a view of the loch. The staff - Duncan in particular. The food - wonderful evening meal and excellent breakfast.

The property was a little tired but comfortable.

We had a lovely room overlooking the loch. The staff were great, very friendly and efficient and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

The water pressure is very low so the shower is more of a trickle. The water is discoloured due to its origin through the peaty mountains which is a bit disconcerting. We lost the water supply completely the first night although to their credit they offered everyone a free drink and dessert. Some bottled water to drink would be a nice touch.
