Le personnel aux petits soins, l’accès au lac, le lieu chargé d’histoires, le petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix avec un riche choix à la carte.

La pression de l’eau est tributaire du nombre de personnes qui s’en servent, ce qui peut rendre une douche du matin épique, mais c’est le prix d’une gestion raisonnable des ressources naturelles de cette magnifique région.

Location was nice.

The decor was awful, not at all in keeping with the hotel. The bathroom wall panels were cheap & damaged, I did not like having no blind on the window, the door wouldn’t lock and the towels provided were small & threads coming off. The whole cottage needs a refurb & the sofa was very uncomfortable. There was not enough room for everyone to sit comfortably together.

Great location - lovely traditional building and decor, excellent space to use different rooms for drinks, meals etc. All in all a great place to stay.

Showers could be better.

Een gezellig hotel, oud Engelse stijl ingericht, zeker zullen velen schrijven 'gedateerd' maar ik noem het stijlvol. Schoon, functioneel,compleet en geweldig personeel. Heerlijk betaalbaar eten, speciale streek biertjes en bijzondere wiskey.

Niets, een geweldig ontbijt, van pannekoeken tot zalm of volledig Schots ontbijt. Enorme porties.

The Loch Maree Hotel will not disappoint. If you are lucky enough to find a vacant room, book it! Obviously on the shores of the romantic Loch Maree in the Highlands, this hotel has managed to rekindle the feeling of times gone by. The hotel is less "a stop over", it's now a destination. With delicious food and amazing staff, everyone will feel personally cared for.

The staff were fantastic and the food in the evening restaurant was lovely and the bed was comfy. Very old and quirky hotel which has creaky floors. BUT .. if it was good enough for Queen Victoria, then I'm good with that.

Stayed in a king size room with a super view and lovely bed and small lounge area. The only thing odd is the natural mountain water they use. It might be safe, but it takes a bit of getting used to a brown water bath.
