location, spacious rooms, pool

old worn mattress and the fact that the rooms/toilets for the drivers are very dirty (in Madagascar your driver will be provided an extra accommodation in the same hotel where you are staying, usually a dormitory room shared with other drivers with shared bathroom- it’s a shame that a hotel on such a level doesn’t care about the basic hygiene for a part of its facilities)

The views were absolutely incredible and the balcony at the bar was amazing for sitting and enjoying a drink with the view, the bathtubs overlooking the mountains were remarkable and the showers were lovely, staff always had a smile

The guide accommodations were dirty and need more work to be sanitary for them. Of course this doesn’t affect your stay as a guest but for us we weren’t very happy to hear that their accommodation wasn’t clean (shoes were apparently essential for showering) especially when we pay so much to stay there!

"Spectacular views from a brilliant hotel"

This was a truly fantastic hotel. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious for dinner and the breakfast was very generous and tasty. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The whole hotel had the most spectacular views. This was part of our honeymoon and this hotel was so special from the moment we arrived!

We decided to be one night in Le Jardin du Roy (classified 3***,coast €104 p/n)we enjoyed every moment the architecture is beautiful. The second night we moved to Iso Rock Lodge (classified 4****, coast €134) no table in the balcony, in the living area, just one stool, fo à couple, no wifi (they suggest connect near the bar), the refrigerator didn't cool. there was no telephone to communicate with the reception for any small problem we had to walk to the reception. there was a bathtub very dirty. I would classified it no more than 2**
