Relatively modern hotel for Madagascar standards, and the views from the hotel are great. The rooms were big and clean, and the beds were comfortable.

The food at the restaurant was mediocre.

This is a fantastic property. It's the only property we stayed at that was comparable to any property you would stay at in Europe or North America. It was clean, the rooms were done very nice, and the property itself was in a great spot. We loved the deck and the big sliding doors. You still need to remember it's in the middle of nowhere, and as such there is things that can happen (power outages, weak wifi, etc...) but they really did a great job with this place. We were in the AC rooms with a front row and it was well worth it.

We loved our entire experience. If I was making a recommendation to future travelers, try to get a front row room, and one that they don't shut the power off. I think the power being shut off in certain rooms is really a poor touch. I understand power is expensive, but to have to pay to have your AC on at night... that's about as dumb as a resort fee. They would be better just charging more for every room. We didn't stay in those rooms, but If we had, I would have been very disappointed, as it can be really warm there and the rooms would have gotten way too hot.

property was probably the best in the Isalo area. super big rooms, and luxurious facilities. view was amazing

The manager was super helpful. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was good.

Food and wine was pricey, with no alternatives due to remote location.
